Vatican Pardons the Templars

So to speak. The Vatican is releasing records from the trials of the Templars--records that have been sitting in the Vatican archives. First, I would give my left hand for the chance to comb through the archives--if they're hiding things like this, who knows what else they're hiding.

As far as the Templars go, what I've read is that the documents essentially say that the Templars were not Satanists--which I think most people* should know already--and that they were bascially railroaded by the king of France.

Unfortunately, I don't know if any of us will get to see the texts--there are only some 800 copies being produced, and they cost thousands of dollars. Personally, I hate how hard it is to get facsimilies--good books are still a wealthy man's toy.

*Excepting, of course, people who believe in shapeshifting, interdimensional lizard Illuminati. But that's a whole other issue.
